The Blue Nose Marathon Society would like to acknowledge that the Night Owl is taking place in Mi’kma’ki, the traditional and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq. The Treaties in this territory, agreed to in the 1700s, are based upon Peace and Friendship between the Mi’kmaq and the British Crown. Together, we will be running and walking in Mi’kma’ki. We are all Treaty people.
